Coming up in the theatre world, Dylan Maranda brings a breadth of unique experiences to his' story first' director approach. After attending the highly competitive SFU SCA cohort program for film, where while attending his works was recognized at festivals both nationally and internationally, he broke into the world of fashion film. His unique artistic sensibility launched global & national campaigns for Kit & Ace & Uniqlo, opening the doors to collaborate with some of Canada's top fashion creative directors & later agencies.

In addition to impactful narrative storytelling, Dylan is constantly diversifying his craft, collaborating with world-class cinematographers and leaning into his photography & documentary background. He can craft emotive and lyrical stills, guiding & taking the viewer on a deeper and more meaningful visual journey through his self-published work. Recently, he has received funding for a short film, Master of the House, to go into development.

Dylan's holistic understanding of the agency's creative process has allowed him to establish solid & collaborative relationships. His highly technical & sensitive approach to acting and performances in his work for Canadian Center for Child Protection has been recognized at Cannes Lions, LIA Awards & other award shows, primarily in the film craft categories.
